Well the big news is in, we are having a boy!!! Evan Martin Lafko. We went for our 18 week ultrasound last Wed and he was ready to show all. As soon as she put the wand on my belly she announced it was a boy. She found it so quickly I ask her if she was sure. It was on the screen plain as day. We are very excited. We went right over to Babies R Us after our appointment and started our registry. We are going to do his nursery in a safari theme. We hope that he has the same love of animals that his parents do.
Updates on Marty and I. We celebrated our 1 year anniversary in Vegas. We went for a week and had a wonderful time!!! Marty has started working 4 days a week with Fridays off. It is longer hours but he is looking forward to an extra day off to golf and get the nursery ready. I start back to school tomorrow and am excited about the new school year!!
That's all from here. Our next Baby Evan appointment is the 15th. We go back to the perinatal doctor for another HD ultrasound to measure all the bones and check out Evan's organ development. Hasn't health care come so far????
