Bathtime

As you can see Evan's favorite time of day continues to be bathtime. Marty says the pool is 78 degrees this week, so swimming is not to far off!!!!

4 months today

WOW - Evan is 4 months old today, yet I can't remember a day without him!! I knew that I was always meant to be a mother but this is better than I ever could have imagined.

April was a big month for Evan. It started with him being dedicated on April 5th. What a special day!! We continue to thank God every day for the blessing that he has given us and pray that we will raise Evan to become the Christian man that God intends him to be. Other biggies for Evan this month was his first Easter, finding his feet, finding his voice ( he is definitely going to be a big talker like his mom), sleeping through the night, starting cereal and learning to live through the day without mom, while she goes to work.

We love every minute that we get with him and every day is something new and full of surprises. And yet there is still so much more to come!!!!!

Evan Easter Bunny

He is so stinkin cute, I can hardly stand it myself!!! This was taken Easter morning before we got ready for our busy day. Unfortunately Evan got stiffed by the Easter bunny as that his mom and dad had been fighting a loosing battle with the stomache flu. The good news was that he really didn't know it and we promised to be on top of it for next year. We have lots of other pictures from today but I have yet to download them. I hope that everyone had as great of an Easter as we did. I cannot wait until Evan is old enough to share with him the story of Easter and what Jesus did for us so that we could have eternal life.

Getting ready for Easter

We have a bittersweet week here are the Lafko house. We started the week Sunday afternoon with Evan's dedication, then Monday we went and saw the Easter bunny and had his spring pictures taken with his cousin Bryce. Wednesday mommy goes back to work kicking and screaming. The good news is that daddy will be staying home with him the first week and then he will be going to Auntie Carole until the school year is over. We are very excited for Evan's first Easter and have big plans with both sides of the family. It should be a great day!!

Bryce wasn't so sure about holding Evan in his lap but did a great job!!

Jumping Boy

Evan really is the big boy this week. We put together his jumperoo this morning and thought that he might still be to little. But we put him in it and he went to town. I can't believe how fast he is growing. We went to visit a friend that had a baby a couple weeks ago and it was so hard for me to remember Evan being that small.

Evan is such a big boy!!

Evan turned 3months old on Sunday. His grandma bought him a bumbo chair. He definitely thinks that he is something special when he is in his chair!! He is becoming such a big boy!!!
