Leah's first trip to Disneyland

Before I went back to work we wanted to take a quick trip to Disneyland to use our annual passes one last time before they expired. As usual we had a wonderful time.

Easter

Easter is always a special time at our house but it was so wonderful to dress everyone up to go to church this year. Leah had her 1st fancy Easter dress and Evan was as handsome as ever.

Evan and his friend Emily were great in helping each other find eggs.

This is what Leah did while everyone looked for eggs.

First Family of 4 Pictures

Yes I would be crazy but we went and had family pictures done 2 weeks after Leah was born. I never had Evan's 2 year pictures done so I wanted to get them done as well. Evan did not want to have anything to do with it. Here are some of the picture we got. Yes we tried bribing Ev with toys, not much helped.

This is probably what I look like most of the time.

Introducing Baby Leah!!

Well 9 weeks after she arrived I am getting to our blog. Wow what a difference going from one child to two.
Leah arrived on Friday April 8th at 12:56pm. She was 8 lbs even and 20 1/2 inches long. Her labor and delivery was a piece of cake. Even her recovery seemed to be easier than Evan's. She is a very laid back easy going little girl. She pretty much slept for the first 6 weeks. After staying up all night with Evan when he was born I was a little worried, but have come to the conclusion that she is just one laid back easy going little girl. She definitely takes after her mother. Not only does she look like me more than Evan did but her height is currently in the 90% for 2 month old at 24 inches. She is going to be one tall girl.

Evan on the other had is right on track for a 2 year old. He loves his sister and has been a GREAT big brother. He always needs to know where she is and is already translating for me by letting me know when she needs a bottle. ;0) He is not very fond of his parents right now. We have lots for yelling and tantrums when he is told no. He is obsessed with Monster Trucks and watching Monster Jam on TV. We are really enjoying his imagination, he has many "stories" to tell us. He is very verbal with a vocabulary of words that are to many to even count. His favorite word this week is - favorite. He is often telling me that something is his favorite. He is very social, he has lots of friends and likes to spend time with them. He is very attached to his Grandma Evans and being that she spends the night with us often he gets up every morning and asks for her. They have a very special relationship.

Evan always has to have Leah sit next to him at dinner.
