Evan will be 7 weeks tomorrow and I thought it was probably time to post again. I have to start by saying how much we are enjoying parenthood. What a blessing Evan is and we are enjoying every moment with him, even the evening crying sessions!!! Evan is grow and getting bigger every day. At his 1 month appointment he was 9lbs 11 oz so we figure is well into the 11 lb mark now. He is in the 50% of all areas except for length where he is in the 70%. Marty figures Evan will be tall like his mother. At least he got something from me being that he looks just like Marty, infact we call him Little Marty. He still has lots of hair but has lost most of the dark hair and is becoming blonder and blonder everyday. This week it is kind of on the red side. His grandma Evans is calling him little Oppie.
Evan's big news for the month is that he got to go to Hawaii at 5 weeks of age. Yes you read that right. Evan's ever crazy mother won a contest and was on the Ellen show where she won a trip for the family to Hawaii and the NFL probowl game. We had a wonderful time and when I get the pictures downloaded will post some. Evan was an absolute dream on the trip. He slept through most of the 6 hour plane ride and most of the trip. He got compliments every where we went as did his parents for their bravery of traveling with a 5 week old.
